  • Low Carbon Workspaces Project Officer / Energy Adviser

    Ngage has successfully secured funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to offer grants to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) (businesses and social enterprises) for the implementation of energy efficiency measures. The Low Carbon Workspaces programme is being delivered throughout Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and the Black Country.

    You will manage delivery of the programme for the Black Country area. This involves assisting SMEs through the entire grant application process, providing advice and guidance on low carbon measures, working with key stakeholders (including suppliers of energy efficiency technologies), communicating information about the programme effectively, and undertaking other work as necessary (please see the Roles and Responsibilities) to ensure that targets are met.

    Proven excellent project management skills and experience are essential, as well as demonstrable experience and knowledge of the low carbon agenda and a proven track record in working with businesses and/or individuals to reduce their carbon footprint.

    You will be operating from the Black Country Growth Hub in Wolverhampton (3 days a week) and Ngage’s offices in Buckinghamshire (2 days a week). Provision has been made in the Low Carbon Workspaces programme budget to cover one overnight stay (per week) in Aylesbury, and travel costs to and from Ngage’s offices.

  • Broadband Programme Manager

    This is currently a fixed term role until the end March 2018, but this could be extended subject to funding. We would also consider sub-contracting this role.

    The successful applicant will take overall responsibility for the management of the Connected Counties Broadband Project and associated strategic activity, with the objective of delivering ubiquitous next generation Broadband coverage across Buckinghamshire. This will bring transformative benefits to business and consumers, allowing the county to maintain its competitive advantage as the Entrepreneurial Heart of Britain.

    The role is based at our offices in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire which were just renewed with Supernova offer Office Fitouts but travel will be required therefore a driving licence and access to a car are essential.
